PFC Atiana Edwards, from Visalia, CA, began boxing at age 7, inspired by watching her father train. Despite taking a six-year break, her passion for the sport never faded. She joined the Army in January 2023, seeking a stable career and opportunities to explore the world. As a 91D, Edwards balances serving her country with competing in boxing, earning medals in the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials and Golden Glove Tournaments while pursuing both her military and athletic dreams.

I joined the Army to build a career for myself, and to branch out into the world.
