Adaugo Nwachukwu, a three-time NAIA National Champion hailing from San Jose, CA, found her wrestling passion at Silver Creek High School after relocating from Nigeria. Wrestling nurtured her mental and emotional growth, propelling her to victories as a CA high school folkstyle and freestyle state champion. Despite a halted senior year due to Covid, she remained undefeated in her junior year. Joining the U.S. Army in October 2021 as a 92S, Laundry and Shower Specialist fulfilled her desire for unique challenges, allowing her to serve her country while excelling in her sport internationally. Wrestling, for Adaugo, epitomizes opportunity and camaraderie, motivating her to strive for excellence on and off the mat.

I joined the U.S. Army to do something that not everyone in the United States could do. I feel accomplished and proud to serve my country on and off the mat.
