SPC Dalton Roberts
Greco-Roman Wrestling
Dalton started wrestling in the seventh grade when his twin brother did – because a wrestling coach offered free pizza to sign up. Within a month, Dean put Dalton in a cradle, and Dalton decided to learn some moves, too. He fell in love with the sport, wrestling through high school and college. At Northern Michigan University he wrestled Greco-Roman and traveled the world. Over his career he has amassed honors including two-time Junior World Team member, two-time Austrian Open Champion, two-time University National Champion, and two-time U23 World Team member. He now has the Olympics as his end goal…but still finds himself wrestling his brother over their mom’s last pierogi when he gets back home.
Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen
